"Left 4 Dead 2" adds new "melee" weapons, an "A.I. Director" and more to the popular zombie apocalypse/shoot-em-up game. Word is, it's incredibly tough to play alone, so perhaps it's time to make some virtual friends. Also in stores this week:
-- "Assassins Creed II" expands the action-packed "Prince of Persia"-meets-the-Italian Renaissance franchise with a new open-world sandbox structure and weapons created by Leonardo da Vinci.
-- "The Sims 3: World Adventures" allows your virtual family to hunt for treasure in exotic locales, practice martial arts and even make nectar. Hey, it wouldn't be a "Sims" game if you didn't have to accomplish some mind-numbingly boring task.
-- "Lego Indiana Jones 2" adds in Shia LaBeouf's Mutt Williams character, as well as levels inspired by "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull," to the mix. Oddly, the swinging-with-monkeys scene is far more believable with LEGOs than it was in the film.
