Oprah Winfrey has confirmed that she will end her syndicated talk show in 2011, when her contract runs out. Before you curl up sobbing on your couch with a tub of Häagen-Dazs, take comfort in the knowledge that Oprah is ending her show so that she can concentrate on forming an entire Oprah Winfrey Network.

Even so, it's a significant milestone in the fabric of modern American life. To cope with the devastation, we have put together some Oprah moments that are memorable from a man's point of view. While Oprah Winfrey might not normally be associated with mantasticness, we think you'll agree that these were important.

1. Tom Cruise Makes Us All Look Saner
No Oprah list would be complete without this train-wreck moment, but it has special significance to guys who have had to listen, for years, to chicks drooling over the Cruise-meister. This much crazy is impossible to overlook.


2. Jenna Jameson
What could be more awesomely mantastic than an in-depth look at porn star Jenna Jameson? Granted, watching Jenna cry while wondering what she'll tell her sons some day kinda ruins all of those great PG-13 bikini shots they threw in there, but if it helps people be less jerky to Jenna, that's fine with us. Plus, it's Jenna frakkin' Jameson!


3. Oprah Flash Mob
The Black Eyed Peas and 21,000 Oprah fans raised the bar for anniversary surprises when they organized this giant dance mob to kick off Winfrey's 24th season (time to re-think that acoustic power ballad you were going to sing for your girlfriend on your next anniversary). Admit you love this, and we won't tell anyone you watch "Glee."


4. Oprah Dresses Down James Frey
Oprah famously selected Frey's "A Million Little Pieces" for her omnipotent Book Club, only to find out that the author had made up huge parts of the story about his own drug abuse and criminal history. We all know a guy like this, who always has to go you one better with a story, so we were happy to see Frey get his comeuppance. Here's Frey trying to shrug it off in typical "that guy" fashion.


5. Everybody Gets a Car
Sure, it would've been more mantastic had she been giving away Camaros or Mustangs, but Oprah still gets major points for gifting her shrieking audience with Pontiac G6's in a much-parodied moment from her 2004 season premiere. Here's the big giveaway set to music.
