Photographer Jim Kiernan of No Pants Subway Ride and NYC BurlesqueFest 2009 was shooting a street artist in Bushwick last week and on the way home came across "this dude with a gnarly pit bull in the ghetto" -- this is the dog -- and he's wearing a Michael Vick Atlanta Falcons #7 jersey. Personally, we think a Vick chew toy would have been a bit more appropriate, don't you?

Who cares? All Pitbulls will be banned one day anyway. Retards like this douche is why. I like sharks but I wouldn't fricken own one. Anyone who has a Pitbull or Pit mix owns one for the power trip alone. They love the fact that they have a dog that can kill someone and will if given the chance. If you have a Pitbull...keep it up because if it scratches me or bites, the Pit dies and I will OWN you. MAJOR LAWSUIT! I hope your Pitbull is worth it.

it is people like you that me think that humans dumbest species in the world. have you ever owned a pitbull. ever encountered one by chance? Pitbulls are some of the sweetest, loyalest dogs you can find. Sure if the owners bad the dogs generally bad too, but that can be fixed. Here's the thing if a lab was growling at something most people scared or protecting its owner or its self but if someone saw a pitbull growling something they would think oh my god that dog wants to kill what ever its growling at. Lets forget the fact that a) that something it was growling at could man that the dog thinks is a threat to his owner or himself. b) That something is someone that wants to beat the dog because of its bread c) that something is someone thats afraid of dogs and its a proven fact when any breed of dog senses that someone is afraid him/her they on defense mode, just as we would if we were afraid.

Have you lost your mind!?) Debt to society?( Who gives a damn about society. What about the dogs who were electrocuted for pleasure you moron! He had a gun and could have shot the dogs who wouldn't fight, but instead he tortured them to death while they screamed. That f()*&^^ piece of crap. I hope he gets hit by a truck and gets dragged until all the skin is off his body, like he did to his dogs. Screw society.

MV only apologized because he wanted to play football in Philly. If given the opportunity he would do it again. Yes, he has been forgiven, but the fact still remains that he abused dogs for his own personal entertainment.

Sue has some man issues. Wow. U must be living alone. And that person who thinks ppl should get in more trouble for hurting a dog then a human...u really need to rethink what u said. If someone hurt a dog and someone hurt a baby u think they should get the same sentence? Uh no, hurting a baby is alot worse then hurting a dog. I do love dogs and cats but I would never put one in front of my child. My child comes 1st. Sweaters and clothes are nice for pets that don't mind them. As for the Vic thing, leave the man alone. He did his sentence, paid his dues and now helps animals. So he somewhat rehabed in jail. He gets more criticism then Jeffery Dahmer did and JDahmer killed & ate ppl.

I absolutely do not think the dog wearing the Vick jersey in poor taste. I just got a gorgeous blue and white pit bull puppy and guess what I named him. You guessed right VICK. The only thing distasteful about the pic is the dog wearing a Falcons jersey, they turned their back on Vick so the hell with them

Hugh, you are a hell of a lot more forgiving than I am...he didn't just fight those poor dogs, he tortured them, beat them, and picked some of them up over his head and slammed them into the ground repeatedly, until they were nearly dead. There is no telling what other sick things he did to them that we don't even know about.
I have a little rule that I live by, and I think it's a pretty damn good measuring stick for people...anyone who would abuse or torture an innocent child or animal, who trusts implicitly while asking for nothing in return but love, is worthless. I would NEVER shake his hand, nor would I ever be his friend or associate with a scumbag like that. I cannot think of many things that are lower than someone who tortures helpless animals for his or her own entertainment.
You are certainly entitled to your own opinion, but I don't share your forgiving mindset.

Ah, the pitbull. The dog chosen by those that deal drugs and/or have a sixth grade (or lower) educational level. The pitbull is a much maligned dog, when in fact, it is the vile, low-class, violent, ignorant owners that are responsible for the bad rap the dog gets.

Gosh, some people do not have a sense of humor. Dog fighting is BAD. I WOULD NEVER EVER GO TO A DOG FIGHT. I DON'T HAVE FRIENDS WHO WOULD DO SUCH A THING. But come on the irony is just too funny. (Vick is getting a lot more heat than some players who put humans in danger. And he's served time...geez!)As for putting clothes and collars on animals...Give me a break! Besides, the dog looks a whole lot better than tea cup dogs in bags. Now that's torture. A dog in a bag? WHY? Now THOSE poor animals are crazy. All they want to do is run and be a dog for crying out loud and they're handled like dolls. An extension of women's over active femininity? Do women with dogs in bags want to prove that they are really women? I don't know but it's cruel. And by the way, I am ALL girl! Pit bulls scare me, but this photo is really, just FUNNY!

The man should still be in jail. Brutality is brutality and worse with helpless animals.

The only thing worse in this picture than the tast the dog's owner has in dog attire is the fugly shoes he's wearing. Must be one of da boyz in da hood. Only someone with a fifth (not even a gradeschool graduate) would buy shoes like that or outfit their dog like that. I wonder if the owner's name is "Upgrayedd" (those that have seen Idiocracy will remember that name).

Look like a size 2 or something like that (if so, then the owner definitely needs an extension of some kind if what they say about shoe size is true, lol). I wonder if the owner's name is "Upgrayedd" (those that have seen Idiocracy will remember that name).
