Plane passenger subjected to public humiliationSo, an obese passenger boarded an American Airlines flight without buying a second seat, so a flight attendant took a photo of him and stuck it on the Internet.

Sure, the real loser is the guy sitting next to him, but we're not sure who's the bigger jerk -- the frugal passenger or the insensitive stewardess.

On the one hand, this guy kind of paid the price for not getting a second seat by having to sit for untold hours with an armrest rammed up his ample nether-regions, so Internet shaming really isn't called for.

On the other hand, what if there were a need for an emergency evacuation? Zones 3 and 4 would be totally effed.

It's a tough call, but we're thinking the stewardess is the bigger a-hole this time. Who knows what the guy's story was, and we're betting this trip wasn't exactly a pleasure cruise for him either.
