Required listening from the week in music.
"Minotaur" is the largest collection of Pixies material ever released, collecting every album (that you probably already own) along with a live DVD. Fanatics can opt for the insane signed limited edition, featuring a fancy art book and a lock of Kim Deal's hair (probably). Also in stores this week:
-- Everything about Snoop Dogg's "Malice N Wonderland" -- from its "shocking" painted cover to song titles like "Pimpin Aint EZ"-- screams "I'm stuck in 1995, my nizzle."
-- We like the show well enough, but we just can't get behind all the "Glee" soundtracks. Why do you need a version of "Jump" sung by a bunch of peppy teens when you can have Diamond Dave?
-- Neil Young reorders the classic cuts from the live album "Harvest Moon" on his new live album "Dreamin' Man Live '92." We're not sure why you'd buy this is you already own "Harvest Moon" and can shuffle the tracks on your iPod.
