The last time James Cameron made a movie with an unprecedentedly large budget, it was "Titanic." The writer/director/producer emerged from the ocean liner's wreckage as the all-time box office king of the world.

That was 12 years ago. On Dec. 18, "Avatar," the first Cameron feature film since then, will premiere. For your viewing pleasure, our friends at FilmDrunk have a whole bunch of new clips from the $300-plus million sci-fi adventure.

Has the massive marketing push behind "Avatar" convinced you to see a starless movie about funny-looking blue humanoids who hop around like they are attached to marionette strings? Or will you be more than happy to let James Cameron's reputation sink -- and allow "Avatar" be the "Ishtar" of the 21st century?
