Contrary to popular belief, guys prefer women whose leg-length is in proportion to their body.

Researchers at the University of California and the University of Westminster in London asked men in America and England to judge the attractiveness of computer generated, bikini-clad images of women's bodies. The further away the images deviated from an average 1:1 leg-to-body ratio, the less desirable the men found them.

This backs an earlier study from Australia, in which men looked at sketches of women and showed a consistent preference for those with the most normally proportioned legs.
