Was this the game that made Angela dial 911?Nearly every day now, a person with a serious need for a refresher course in what constitutes an emergency seems to pop out of the woodwork. The most recent example? A mother who called the police because her son stayed up too late playing "Grand Theft Auto."

The woman, 49-year-old Angela Mejia of Roxbury, Mass., woke up at 2:30 a.m. and saw a flickering light coming from under the door of her son's room. When confronted, the son fessed up to playing the violent Rockstar video game well past his bedtime -- a household crime she'd totally busted him for committing many times before.

Her degree of frustration with the repeat offender's behavior led her to dial trusty 911 to ask the cops to help get junior back in line. According to the Boston Herald, a couple of police officers visited the house and counseled the boy to, "Chill out. Go to bed." It makes you wonder what they would have said if a crazed gunman had broken into her home.

Stories like this leave so many questions unanswered. Which PlayStation was it? Which version of GTA? Knowing those things would make all the difference in the world.
