In Phoenix last week, a teacher, Mary Segall, was placed on administrative leave after taking 40 students to Hooters while on a school trip. While we are always saddened by injustice of this type, we are surprised by all the hubbub over taking high-school students to the breast-y chicken wing joint, considering the fact that much younger children regularly frequent the restaurant.
In fact, many Hooters offer special deals for kids accompanying adults or weekly "Kids Eat Free" days. (Staff members at the McDonough, Ga., Hooters verify that their Kids Eat Free promotion is active and that kids eat at Hooters "all the time.")
Still not convinced? Then keep reading for the purest evidence of all -- the smiling faces of satisfied children at Hooters culled from around the Web.
