Sausages not actually a bombYou know how sometimes when you get dumped, the next thing you do is threaten to blow up a restaurant with smoked meats? Yeah, neither do we. But one man in Benxi, China, somehow saw logic in such a reaction.

The 23-year-old man had recently been dumped and was sitting around moping. Perfectly normal so far. But then he became "inspired" by the shape of sausages.

Unlike a normal sausage-inspired plan, which usually involves bread or at least some quiet shame, this man's idea was to wrap a few choice meats in white paper and strap them to himself. He then headed out to scare people.

After a failed attempt to rob a restaurant he had just eaten at, the man whipped open his jacket to reveal his wurst-covered bosom. The police were called, and in came the experts.

Upon arrival, the bomb squad immediately cracked up. Apparently it takes more than wrapping up sausages and tying them together with string to trick a professional. So there go our weekend plans.
