If you ever doubted just how sinister Darth Vader is, look no further than Wall Street. Not only did Vader command the Death Star, wield the Dark Side of the Force and nearly single-handedly wipe out the Jedi from the galaxy, the man works in the stock exchange. With an honor guard of Clone Troopers at hand, the Dark Lord of the Sith rang the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange and then, presumably, force-choked everyone in the room to death before picking their pockets and investing their money wisely.
Though Vader was on hand with R2D2 as representatives from LucasFilm, you have to wonder if it's a good sign in the current economy that one of the most recognizable villains in film history was ringing that bell.
