Because free-for-all cage matches are apparently not decadent and depraved enough, UFC creator Art Davie brings us XARM, the self-proclaimed "Next Generation in Combat Sports."In a nutshell, XARM is the lovechild of mixed martial arts and arm wrestling, where "two athletes are linked together in a combat zone." Points are scored by landing punches and kicks, and by pinning an opponent; players can also win by knockout.
If you're having trouble picturing what this gnarly-sounding sport might look like, imagine UFC if it met Rock'em Sock'em Robots and "The Jerry Springer Show" circa 1998. Or you can simply watch the video of a ridiculous XARM bout we've posted for you on the next page.
