Avenged Sevenfold drummer Jimmy "The Reverend" Sullivan passed away this morning. Though The Rev was only 28 years old, initial reports ascribe his death to natural causes. Perhaps these initial reports aren't taking into account Sullivan's speaking openly in the past about his fast rock n' roll lifestyle and passionate love of cocaine.

I am like in a state of shock right now. I'm literally like speechless and soon am gonna cry....How Could this possibly happen....this soon. Last year I had a friend who was 22 when he died January, 15th. Only the good die young.

I can't believe The Rev is dead. Avenged Sevenfold are such a great band and a part of them has now gone. I agree with the other comments...that video of McKee is stupid and pathetic.
My thoughts are with The Rev's family..he is the same age as my daughter.
RIP Rev...you'll be missed by your fans as well as your family, bandmates and friends.

The Rev was loved by many, including Synyster Gates. Of all the people that miss The Rev, my thoughts go out to Syn, the Sullivan family, and the members of Avenged Sevenfold. May the Rev be in a better place now. "Only the good die young."

Wow i can't believe you made thsi video- it is so disrespecful and trashy... If if u didn't like Jimmy, show him some respect. He was a musical genius and avenged sevenfold moved man people. I was depressed and their songs were one thing that COULD help me. You shouldn't take his death lightly. Many people including myself, are distraught- and even cried- and i never even met the rev. Think of how his family must feel.
