We've seen a lot of great "Star Wars" handiwork this year: a nativity scene featuring R2-D2, a Millennium Falcon bed, even a storm trooper riding a chipmunk. But that still didn't prepare us for the sheer technical achievement of a new series of "Star Wars" paper models by Japanese designer Shunichi Makino.
These handmade marvels include a TIE Fighter, the Millennium Falcon, R2-D2, an AT-AT with moving legs and a giant Imperial Star Destroyer.
"The models were difficult to design but they're great fun to make," Makino said. He's published the templates on his Web site so you can print, cut, fold and glue them yourself.
And honestly, if a hand-folded Imperial Star Destroyer paper model doesn't get you laid, nothing will.
