This lack of respect for the plucky Broncos seems to extend to Fox, which broadcasts the BCS games. Judging from this screenshot from last night's action, the network clearly sent their more competent production team to cover tonight's snooze-fest of an Orange Bowl between Georgia Tech and Iowa.
Can you spot the typo?

As much as the rest of the country would love these two teams to be considered "top tier" teams, the truth is they would get crushed if they had to play their season in the SEC. Did TCU even have a third down conversion in the first half? Alabama or Florida would chase them off the field.

could that be the same Alabama that got their ass kicked last year by Utah??

They were in texting mode when the Major was listed. BTW it is a preview of what is to come with more misspellings and technology.

Ah, another SEC champion who thinks that college division is the end-all. Funny!
You know, I would love to see this experiment: take any top team in the SEC, lets say Florida, and drop them in another college division for one season. For kicks, lets say the Big Ten. Now before you laugh, remember this: The Big Ten has a WINNING percentage agaisnt the SEC in BCS bowl games (I kid you not. Michigan ran over Florida in 2008, remember?). The Big Ten also plays smash-mouth, blitz-heavy defense. The SEC just likes to run everybody (including the quarterback) with the football.
News flash: Florida would be 4-8 on the season. Why? Because that silly Spread/Wildcat offense doesn't work outside the SEC/ACC. Ask anybody who has even a shred of knowledge about college football. Ask Rich Rodriguez. He's been trying to make it work in the Big Ten for two years. The results? Michigan, the winningnest college football team in history, sucks. He runs it every down, and they get their keisters kicked every down. Same with Illinois and Ron Zook.
Prove me wrong. (you wont. when was the last time you seen the Gators beat USC? The last time they did play, Florida got ran all the way back to the swamp!)

We'll never know for sure though, will we. There's only one way to find out! Just let us know when and where and we'll be there.

Seems like I heard the same message when the Bronco's beat the mighty Oklahoma team. You never know until you try. More schools opt out of playing teams such as Boise Staate and Fresno State because they are scared stiff of getting beat by a "small school". The way the BCS is set up, you are safer to get beat by a "big" school. All should have a chance, not just the annointed "big" conferences.

Are we SURE that's a typo, and not a new field of study?

Nice one, thunderbuck. ... It's still worth pointing out that misspellings occur often in TV graphics, crawls, etc. But just because this one includes "cum," our online geniuses at work decide this is worth a separate story.

Maybe it's not a spelling error but a subliminal message.....

No Tony, that would be the Boise State that got humiliated in Athens by Georgia a few years ago.

It was Hawaii that got beaten by Georgia, not Boise St. duh. If you are going to come on here acting so smart perhaps you should get the teams right.

You are obviously not very well educated Krubby. It was Hawaii that got beaten by Georgia is an incorrect phrase. It should be either Hawaii WAS beaten by Georgia, or Hawaii got BEAT by Georgia. I am sure that since you are quick to blast other people on their level of intelligence, you caught your error. Otherwise, you just sound like a moronic buffoon!!!

krubby, I wasn't being a smart-aleck, you are correct that Georgia beat Hawaii also. BTW, under Coach Richt UGA is 38-4 outside the SEC. That's not too shabby is it?
