This lack of respect for the plucky Broncos seems to extend to Fox, which broadcasts the BCS games. Judging from this screenshot from last night's action, the network clearly sent their more competent production team to cover tonight's snooze-fest of an Orange Bowl between Georgia Tech and Iowa.

My gosh that Bosie and Georgia game was 5 years ago and the first game of both teams opener of the season,,it was not a Bowel game. And it was not a few years ago..both teams have different players now. I read on another site were someone said it was just a couple of years ago..next someone will say it was last year. Its history, its 2010 now. Whats next?

Boise State and TCU are 3rd tier programs; they play nobody and they win win win with schedules a junior high could have success with. Only major Conferences - SEC, Big 10, Big 12, Pac 10 - should be eligible for BCS bowls. Note: The ACC is on the same level as Boise and TCU, so they should be excluded, too.

I'll tell you what...you put together a team and I'll put together a team and I will run the Wildcat offense (an offshoot of the single wing) against you every play. I gaurantee, you won't be able to stop it.
I coached it for a number of years in an Illinois youth program and had great success with it way back in 1968 when I had a team go 10-0 averaging 29 points a game only relinguishing 2 points. And, check this...in the ten games we played my team never had to punt once the whole season.
You see...these guys now days don't know how to use it properly. It's designed to set up the opposing teams defense for the unexpected. If you know how to do it you'll have them scratching their heads the whole game. There's no trickery to it neither it's all in the deception you create when you use it properly.
Just thought you'd like to know.

Alright ... we all picked up on the misspelling of communications. What I take offense at is that the writer described the Orange Bowl meeting of #10 Iowa and #9 Georgia Tech as a snoozefest prior to the game being played. Certainly hope that Mr. Taylor actually took the time to watch the game because it certainly wasn't a snoozefest!

Of course it happened on Fox. I'm sure that none of the yahoos who regularly watch this station would ever have caught it.

If you want examples of poor english, listen to the cooks of the Food Channel. they are continually mispronouncing Carmalize, and even worse conuninually say I've got, I;ve got, or I got , instead of I have. Not world shaking, but how can we expect our children to use reasonably proper english if supposed professionals set this sort of example on national television!!

Well Jeron has picked a major that most people would take great pleasure in having. Many people drop out of that field becuse they just can't get a handle on it. Some enjoy the good vibrations associated with that major. I have heard comments that the college years blow by pretty fast while others say it sucks and they just can't put their finger on it as to why. Some say it starts out hard and stays that way through grad school. Others say the coursework blows up in your face and in the end the course load is the sticky point.
