Inner-city crime is a serious problem, even when that inner city is Toledo and the crime is Chicken McNugget-based.

Melodi Dushane, 24, became so incensed when a McDonald's drive-thru cashier told her that McNuggets weren't available for breakfast that she punched through the window and tried to attack employees.

It's the same old story. Girl finds out nuggets aren't served before 11 a.m., girl reaches into drive-thru and punches clerk in mouth, manager intervenes and gets hit as well, manager tries to pull girl through window by hair, girl punches through window and gets arrested.

The judge in the case, apparently tough on crime, banned Dushane from visiting that particular McDonald's location. This may prevent future McNugget incidents at that restaurant, but to get to the root of the problem it really has to start with education.
