In an interview with "Good Morning America"'s George Stephanopoulos, former mayor of New York and America Rudolph Giuliani made the following claim: "We had no domestic attacks under Bush. We've had one under Obama."

He's not the first Republican to "forget" about 9/11 on TV, but he is the first to do so without the protective coating of a Sean Hannity panel to sit there and ignore the gaffe.

Stephanopoulos doesn't follow up on the statement. White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs called Rudy out, not only for the 9/11 omission, but for criticizing the decision to try the underwear bomber in civilian court, even though he had praised the civilian trial of Zacarias Moussaoui.

Maybe when Giuliani said, "We had no domestic attacks under Bush," he meant that he and Stephanopoulos had not been personally attacked. Click through to watch the video and weigh in.

Update: Giuliani and Stephanopoulos respond to criticism here.
