Are you obsessed with Michael Cera, beloved actor and participant in our latest dueling interview? Then "Youth in Revolt" -- where he plays both a deadpan, awkward teen and a less awkward (but still deadpan) doppelganger -- is definitely for you. And, as a bonus, because he is legally required to appear in every zany comedy between now and the end of time, Zach Galifianakis turns up as the bearded, slacker boyfriend of Cera's mom. Oh, hey, is that Justin Long? He's, uh, passable, we guess. Can we proclaim that 2010 is off to a great start at the movies! Also in theaters:
-- Between its overdone premise (zombie, er, vampire plague in the future) and slumming Oscar nominees (Ethan Hawke), it's a wonder that "Daybreakers "isn't a Uwe Boll film.
-- Is it January already? That must explain the existence of "Leap Year," a forgettable romantic comedy starring Amy Adams (or maybe it's Isla Fisher). Now, if the title was "Creep Year," and it was about an annoying couple getting terrorizing by a psycho killer every four years, then they might have something.
-- "Crazy on the Outside," a wacky ex-con comedy starring Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver, marks Allen's directorial debut. We'll take "words we'd hoped to never type" for $200, Alex.
