There's no denying that Jessica Rabbit ranks among the top of anyone's list of doable cartoon characters. But nobody asked for this: A 57-year-old great-grandmother from England spent roughly $16,000 to look like the "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" sexpot.Annette Edwards said the idea came from her infatuation with the fictional starlet from the 1988 comedy. "I'd always been fascinated with the cartooon character Jessica Rabbit," she told the ITV program "This Morning." "I thought she was stunning, and for years I longed to look like my idol."
So, naturally, Edwards spent a chunk of change getting a breast lift, a face lift and a chin implant to transform herself into a poor woman's Ms. Rabbit. And she's pleased with the results. According to Edwards, Playboy has even contacted her about doing a photo shoot.
While we pray that photo spread never sees the light of day, here's hoping that Edwards one day finds her soul mate: an elderly man who's had plastic surgery to look like Bugs Bunny.
See Edwards talk about her surgery and her love of actual rabbits after the jump.

It doesn't matter how much plastic surgery she gets! She'll never look like what she wants to look like. These women that think they can go under th knife and come out looking young and pretty are in for a rude awakening! Once a woman hits a certain age there's no amount of surgery that can reverse that look. She'll always look like an old woman! Even the ones with tight skin and fake lips and fake boobs.. they still have that OLD look to them. What a waste of money! They should use that money and talk to a few shrinks first!

what is wrong with being an "old woman"? It is not a disease, it is an honor.

It's obvious that your young, because I use to feel the same way when I was younger. Now that I am pushing 60, I look at plastic surgery in a totally different light. I don't want to try and look like a younger woman, I just want to feel better about how I do look at 60. Saggy breast, turkey neck and baggy eyelids can really make one feel older than they are, so I say if it makes you feel better then go ahead and do it.You might be eating your words one day like I have.

This is MY opinion, and I agree with "If you can't say anything nice...". While I don't find her particularly attractive, it doesn't matter so long as she's happy. I don't think she would care what I (or most of you) think anyway. It does sound a little crazy to say you were going for the look of a cartoon character, but that's her choice, her body and her money. She's not hurting anyone, so what does it matter? I've seen FAR worse surgeries then hers. Google the CAT LADY Jocelyn Wildenstein...or remember Micheal Jackson?

I love her. I think she's a very nice, interesting person. She's positive and she has a wonderful body - those legs! What is she done wrong? I'd love her for a mom or a grandma. She's interesting and she's a good person. Negative comments are just that - negative. Give her a break.

When they said she had a breast lift and a face lift, I was shocked. She still has jowels and her breasts are by her elbows. I can't believe she is happy about how she looks. She's probably happier about the cash she gets paid for her appearances so people can laugh at her. I feel sorry for her.

I think it's a lot more interesting than all the horrible news we are subjected to everyday. Lighten up, it could be a lot worse, they could be doing a story on assholes like you.

She had a boob lift?? I'd sue! All that money and she still doesn't look happy either...
I always thought Jessica Rabbit looked like Kathleen Turner, so maybe it's not so crazy.

LOL! Have you seen Kathleen Turner lately? She looks nothing like she use to, and could use some plastics and weightloss surgery.

I think she should have kept on paying. that $16,000 only made her look like a low budget, drag queen, Rebecca Rabbit impersonator.
