The earthquake that shook Haiti left thousands dead and many more wounded. In response, celebrities are flocking to New York, Los Angeles, and London for MTV's "Hope for Haiti Now" telethon tonight. Our friends at PopEater will be streaming the live feed at 8 p.m. Performers include Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Hudson in New York, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera in Los Angeles, Jay-Z and Rihanna in London, as well as a special appearance by Brad Pitt's facial hair.
Wyclef, a native of Haiti, will host the event in NYC while George Clooney streams from Los Angeles. In addition to PopEater, you can view the live feed on YouTube, MySpace and AOL. The event will also be televised on all the major networks and a host of others that include MTV, VH1, PBS and Bravo.
Beginning Saturday, viewers have the opportunity to purchase these performances on iTunes for 99 cents. All proceeds will be put towards Haiti relief.
