In the name of all that is awesome, AC/DC's latest greatest hits album will be called "AC/DC: Iron Man 2." It will be released in conjunction with (and as the soundtrack to) the much-anticipated movie sequel.

Our friends at FilmDrunk offer up the first fruits of this synergy: a video that intertwines scenes from "Iron Man 2" with footage of the geriatric (but still killing it) rockers belting out their bang-your-head-'til-you-puke classic "Shoot to Thrill." After we watched the clip this morning, there was no need for a second cup of coffee.

This is a promotional strategy that hearkens back to the late-20th century, when movies were often associated with an unabashedly bombastic rock song. We've rounded up some of our favorite big-riffed soundtrack classics. If we missed any of your favorites, let us know in the comment section.
