Actor and composer Val Kilmer, star of many an awesome movie, is now starring in a weird viral video in which he extols the virtues of rapper 50 Cent to ancient-looking New Mexico State Representative "Lucky" Varela.

Kilmer has been mulling a run for governor in New Mexico, and while 50 might seem like an odd choice of topic, the thrifty moniker of Kilmer's close friend might appeal to recession-weary voters.

While it sounds weird out of context, Kilmer's description of 50 Cent as "bionic" actually makes complete sense. It's Varela's bemused expression that really makes the video funny. Check out the weirdness, and be sure to look for Val and Fitty's now-filming second movie, "Gun."
