Amira Sa'id wants you to vote her into Star Wars Celebration V.A Florida-based belly dancer has turned her hips and Princess Leia's gold bikini into a cottage industry, and she's hoping to find a home at this year's Star Wars Celebration V in Orlando.

Amira Sa'id dances in myriad styles and costumes, but it's her love of "Star Wars" that led her to don the slave-girl outfit Princess Leia wears in Jabba the Hutt's palace in "Return of the Jedi."

"I danced in the outfit for the first time at a Halloween show at the restaurant I perform at here in Orlando," Amira said. "I'm a 'Star Wars' fan, and I enjoy going to and performing at conventions. So, I wore the costume to dance at a 2006 sci-fi convention in Connecticut. It got a great reaction."

Since then, the dancer has traveled across the country to perform for enthusiastic (predominantly male) fans in a handmade replica of the infamous gold bikini.

Sa'id made her biggest splash at 2007's Star Wars Celebration IV in Los Angeles. In addition to offering impromptu performances in the hallways during the convention, she offered a live performance and belly-dancing lessons for fascinated fans -- making her one of the more popular attractions of the convention.

Celebration V is set to celebrate the 30th anniversary of perhaps the best Star Wars movie, "The Empire Strikes Back." And the folks behind the convention created an online survey asking would-be attendees what or who they would most like to see at the event.

Sa'id asks fans to take a few minutes to request her presence at the big event, adding that she has "something special planned for Han this time." Obsessed slave-Leia fans should stay tuned to Sa'id's Web site for updates on her Celebration V fate. But, to (kinda) paraphrase Luke Skywalker, "I have a good feeling about this."
