While Drew Brees and Sean Payton left little doubt as to which football team was best on this 44th Super Bowl Sunday, the victor in the all-important battle for Super Bowl commercial supremacy is still very much in the hands of the viewing public.

Last night's ad wars started with a whimper when the much-anticipated Tim Tebow anti-abortion spot failed to be particularly controversial. However, it did feature Tebow coming out of nowhere to tackle the woman who birthed him after a difficult pregnancy.

Tebow's was far from the only Super Bowl ad that featured someone getting unexpectedly hit or smacked. There was also an abundance of animals, pantsless-ness and talking babies, a bit of geriatric abuse, and another rebuke to Jay-Z's assertion that Auto-tune has died.
