It's not often you can write a headline like that one, but when it does happen it's a worthy story to tell. 18-year-old Kevin Duron went to Pacific Elementary School in Manhattan Beach last Friday and headed right for the boy's bathroom. His objective? To purchase piss. That's right, Yellow Gold, Texas P. The good stuff.
Duron, apparently in anticipation of an upcoming drug test, figured he could get a decent sample off of some third-graders. He offered several boys a few bucks to pee in the cup. The third-graders, obviously the smarter kids in this situation, elected to run away because third-graders are aware that offering to buy pee is weird.
After Duron left the scene, the kids complained, police were called and detectives used surveillance footage to try to identify him. And that's when he showed up again, the following Monday. Same school, same bathroom, possibly the same cup.
When confronted, Duron said he was there to bring lunch money to his little brother. Unfortunately an empty pee cup is not lunch money and also Duron didn't have a brother at that school. He was arrested on charges of child annoyance and is being held in lieu of $150,000 bail.
Surely all the parents are pleased Duron's been caught and this story is over. The one thing we can't believe is that with a weekend interim between his first and second visits, Duron couldn't find anyone in the entire world to pee in a cup for him.
