According to a new survey, the definition of "sex" is all over the place.

The Kinsey Institute asked about 500 adults between the ages of 18 and 96 if any of 14 different intimate activities qualified as sex. Oral sex was not classified as "sex" by 30 percent of the respondents; 20 percent agreed that you don't get to add one to your "number" if the sex is anal.

In the absence of ejaculation, 11 percent of respondents posit that penile/vaginal intercourse doesn't count. And finally, in a bizarre twist, 23 percent of men age 65 and up refused to acknowledge vaginal intercourse as sex even when ejaculation does occur.

OK, Asylum readers, it's time to make our own numbers. What do you think constitutes sex?
