Toss back a shot of Jameson, dress in green from head to toe -- hell, sport a four-leaf-clover sticker on your forehead while you're at it. Even if your name isn't Conor McDuffy or Patrick O'Brien, there's no excuse not to party like an Irishman on St. Patrick's Day.

In that spirit, check out our rundown of what to do about town in honor of the Irish high holiday. So whether you're singing karaoke, watching the parade or literally crawling from one pub to the next, let the luck of the Irish be with you.

WATCH: If you happen to be one of the 9.7 percent of unemployed Americans, or you just don't give a f**k about your day job, head to the ultimate in St. Patrick's Day festivities: the New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade. On Wednesday, 150,000 marchers will commence at 11 a.m. on 44th Street, making their way up 5th Avenue. We recommend brown-paper-bagging a Guinness and watching from the steps of the Met on 82nd Street.

DRINK: Channel your days as a frat boy at Redemption in Midtown East. They promise a St. Patrick's Day soiree "you'll never remember and never forget." The festivities start at 10 a.m. with Kegs and Green Eggs (you'll need to RSVP), $4 Bud Light drafts, $6 Baby Guinness shooters and $6 Corned Beef sandwiches. Beat Randy the Leprechaun in limbo (we dare you) and you could win a $300 bar tab.

WALK: If the thought of a crowded Irish pub on St. Patrick's Day makes you cringe, or you're trying to get in touch with your Irish roots, check out Big Onion Tours' Irish New York Tour. They'll take you through downtown's former Little Ireland district (at one time, it had more Irish residents than Dublin), St. Patrick's Cathedral, Irish revolutionary Al Smith's childhood home and the former sites of Tammany Hall and the Five Points slum. No need for reservations -- just meet in front of St. Paul's Chapel, Broadway between Fulton and Vesey Streets.

CRAWL: Last year, the St. Patty's Day Pub Crawl made it into the Guinness Book of World Records for the most people ever to attend a pub crawl -- over 4,000. Join the madness tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday, the 17th. Choose to crawl 1, 2, or 3 days, purchase a ticket, and receive $1 draft beers, $2 bottled beers, $3 well drinks and $4 Jameson shots at the over 100 participating bars. Deck yourself in green, and prepare to check your pride at the door.

SING: In just a few years, the annual St. Patrick's Day "Lip Sing-a-Long" at Lansdowne Road has built quite a reputation for itself. Bar owner Pat Hughes notoriously gets up on the bar with his St. Patty's Day sidekick, Scott the Leprechaun, and encourages the crowd to join in on all his karaoke glory. The Sing-a-Long begins at 8 p.m. and entry is free.

BREW: Join the Brooklyn Brew Shop in celebrating the St. Patty's Day spirit this Sunday. They'll be stationed at The Double Windsor in Windsor Terrace from 7–9 p.m. hosting beer trivia (a topic on which you're likely an expert). In honor of the holiday, the brewers will be giving away free 1-gallon homebrew kits, including Black & Tan, Grapefruit Honey Ale and a new juniper- and coriander-spiced Bel-Gin Strong.
