"A woman's perspective on periods"? You really want a perspective? Here it is:
ARRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHH......#&@*#!&#!!!!!!! Try picturing what hell would be like, with your mother-in-law jabbing at you with her pitchfork, and multiply that by 10. Get it?! Now get me the midol and a highball to wash it down with.........

Well, folks, not to get realistic and graphic, from a woman who is now in menopause (no periods for the last 4-5 years, age 57), that blood we bleed is how every single human being on this earth, past-present-future, comes into the world. That blood is a blend of the lining of the uterus and the dissolved egg, flowing out. Us girls do not particularly enjoy it, but that is the price we pay to be BORN! I think men need to just give us girls a break, ok? Women, if you are cramping and in pain, just take some space away from others a bit and sip a cup of soothing herbal tea, put your feet up,even for a few minutes, take an aspirin, and be kind to yourself. Women can bring forth life!! How cool is that??
