While "Mad Men: Season 3" could have used more Joan and less of the British buyout plotline, which sort of petered out. The season's highlight can be summed up in five words: lawnmower in the office scene. That alone makes up for the increasingly tiresome antics of Don Draper.

Also in stores;
-- Wes Anderson scored some of his best reviews in years for the stop-motion animated flick "Fantastic Mr. Fox." Maybe it's time for a 3-D motion-capture remake of "Rushmore"?
-- Is there a better way to show off your Blu-ray player than Terrence Malick's gorgeous "Days of Heaven"? Pick any scene, leave it on pause ... instant work of art.
-- John Woo's period epic "Red Cliff" is available in both its American theatrical version and the original four-hour Asian cut. Granted, most of the running time is taken up by the slow-motion battle scenes and constant flag-waving.
