Did anyone else find it hard, sometimes, not to root for the Empire?

Stormtroopers are without a doubt the most enduring white-plastic bad guys the universe has ever known and, as such, have inspired more tributes than you could shake a double-ended lightsaber at.

A brave and secretive young man simply named Stefan took on a challenge of photographing the lives of his two run-of-the-mill, Joe Stormtroopers (named TK455 and TK479), once a day for an entire year. Then he published them on his Web site Stormtroopers 365.

Stefan will have completed his 365-day mission tomorrow, and to celebrate we've compiled 20 of his best pictures.
