Texas Stadium in Irving, one-time home of the Dallas Cowboys, was sent off to the great beyond Sunday by way of an awesome implosion.

It's pretty kick-ass anytime a giant building gets taken to its knees by way of a controlled demolition, but this one had an extra layer of cool thanks to the good people at Kraft, who spent $75,000 on their absolutely insane idea for cross promotion.

After running an essay contest to coincide with the promotion of the Cheddar Explosion line of Mac and Cheese, 11-year-old Casey Rogers was selected as the winner and allowed to throw the switch that took out the stadium.
