Sexual harassment sued against NY1One woman's sexual harassment lawsuit is another's source for a few good chuckles, apparently.

According to Adele Sammarco, a former reporter for NY1, some of the employees at the station were constantly on the lookout for chances to make inappropriate jokes. Even the interludes between segments were lewd. Anyway, Sammarco submitted for evidence in her trial a tape of herself at the anchor desk fumbling with the zipper on her pants. According to Sammarco, "porn music overlay" had been added to the tape to make it seem sexually suggestive, even though the music was apparently missing at trial. That's the kind of wacky sexual harassment you just can't get in places without video editing equipment.

All of which brings us to the conclusion that there should be a NY1 drinking game -- every time you manage to squeeze in a relatively good innuendo into their coverage of your borough, toss one back in honor of those who have been silenced by the laws of human decency, of which we have none. Considering their 24-hour news coverage, we plan on getting pretty wasted this weekend.
