In our latest installment of Metered Recommendation, our driver Badshaa Khan seemed a bit reserved, but it was just a front. He gracefully told us where to find cheap, spicy food and then informed us where we could blow that saved money on delicacies of the flesh.

Where do you go for good grub?
Well, I always tell people to get Indian food since I'm originally from Bangladesh. When you go downtown, along that one stretch on 6th street, between 2nd and 1st Avenues, it's right there: Taj Mahal. It's pretty good and cheap.

So where do you spend that extra cash?
[Laughs] Cab drivers never have extra cash.

Do you go dancing? What do you do for fun?
If you want to go to a club or something, there's this place on Broadway between 52nd and 53rd. It's a gentleman's club called Flashdancers.

So this is where you go to "unwind"?
Yeah, I like it there. They're very good. Very well proportioned and good dancers.

I know that's close to where they film Letterman. Have you ever dropped him off there?
