
One of the great things about attending sporting events is that there's always the chance an incredibly intoxicated meathead(s) with no regard for his (their) well-being will run on the field. For decades, running onto the field has always ended with stadium security tackling said meathead(s). Apparently, security is tired of the chase. So, last night, the tasers came out during a Phillies-Cardinals game in Citizens Bank Park in Philly.
"We were in attendance and quite enjoyed the spectacle. At least I did," said Phillies fan Joseph Hudak of Narberth, PA. (Hudak originally decided to go to the game simply because it was Dollar Dog Night.) "Still, I'd prefer a good old-fashioned tackling as opposed to a shocking." Great move. Gives him something to tell all his loser pals and will give other punkass jerks something to think about before they decide to bust a move.
Now my fave Bob Uecker quote...when asked what the highlight of his 20 year career in professional baseball was Bob replied " it was the night I saw a fan fall out of the upper deck in Philly". LMAO!!!
