The online gaming source Steam finally launched its beta version for Mac. Before now, Mac-heads had to buy a PC or break into their neighbor's place to get their full game-geek on. The program, which operates a lot like an iTunes for video games, with an attached community, reached its capacity for beta users within hours of its launch.
