Here's this week's most outrageous relationship red flag story from the editors of The Little Black Blog of Big Red Flags. The Story: I dated a girl in college who was on the varsity crew team. She had practice early in the morning (like 5 a.m.) during the week. When sleeping at my place, she'd set the alarm an hour earlier than she actually needed to get up and hit snooze repeatedly for the entire hour.
While I could deal with this annoying habit once a week, when we started having sleepovers more often I asked her to please just set the alarm and get out of bed so that I could go back to sleep.
She said she would, but after one day she went right back to her old habit. When I asked again, she called me selfish. This should have cued me in on the fact that she was a my-way-or-highway girl who wanted someone to cater to her every whim, not be her partner.
I eventually chose that highway and road on out of the relationship.
