YouTube robotThe idea of a machine that can read your thoughts, like in George Orwell's "1984," is pretty creepy. The idea of those robots having human faces is even creepier. For the most part, robots still have stiff, robo-voices, but their ability to make facial expressions and respond in conversation could make anyone uncomfortable. These humanoids will someday assume more jobs, like those held by current employees of Starbucks, McDonald's and tourism companies.
