World's Strongest Beer Gets 'Scientific' Testing
Asylum is still on the lookout for America's Next Top Beer, and we know there are plenty of interesting beers out there in the world waiting to be savored. So, when James Watt of the Brew Dog Microbrewery in Scotland offered us the chance to taste-test his company's Sink the Bismarck brew -- which has the distinction of being the world's strongest beer, at 41 percent alcohol by volume -- we couldn't pass up the opportunity ...

Having been a barman in London for three years I have tasted Barley Wine. In order to make the worldest strongest beer you have to use a lot of sugar to boost the alcohol content. The result is like a SUPER sweet SUPER strength Kestral! Yecch!
