Venus Williams French OpenThe Williams sisters are once again numbers 1 and 2 in the world. Quite an impressive feet for a pair of women's tennis players pushing 30.

However, as our friends at With Leather report, all the buzz surrounding the Williams' sisters at the French Open has had to do with their outfits. Or, more specifically, the flimsy dress Venus wore during her first-round matchup.

"The outfit is about illusion,'' said Venus, who is generally the less flamboyant of the two sisters.

As you can see in the accompanying photo, the "illusion" Venus speaks of has to do with whether or not her derriere is completely exposed.

Look, we hate to discourage anything that involves women wearing barely-there skirts and then jumping and thrusting about. But one could make the argument that by so blatantly sexing up her outfit, Venus is acting to trivialize the sport that she dominates.
