Red Dead Redemption outlawRecently, we joined the chorus of praise for "Red Dead Redemption," the new "Grand Theft Auto"–meets-"Deadwood" game from the folks at Rockstar Games.

Turns out you guys are having just as much fun roaming around frontier towns, helping out cattle ranchers or fraternizing with Old West harlots. One eagle-eyed reader, however, noticed something interesting about the game's lead cowboy, John Marston.

Red wrote, "'Red Dead Redemption' is such a great game. The main character looks a helluva lot like Karl Urban though."

Good call, Red! Could "Red Dead"'s outlaw protagonist be patterned after New Zealand actor Urban, star of J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" and "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy? Or does the character give off more of a "Sawyer from 'Lost' on the trail" vibe?
