Here's this week's most outrageous relationship red flag story from the editors of The Little Black Blog of Big Red Flags.

The Story: "I dated a girl who didn't like animals. She hadn't been bitten and wasn't afraid -- she just didn't like them. As a dog lover and owner, this made me a little suspicious, but I let it slide and continued seeing her.

She often refused to come to my apartment, and when she did, she would push my tail-wagging dog away with her foot when he came near her. While this upset me a bit, I wasn't going to end the relationship because of it and figured she would warm up over time. Well, she didn't warm up to the dog ... or me.

Turned out, she didn't have a nurturing bone in her body, and was incapable of caring about anyone other than herself. So when she gave me the 'me or the dog' ultimatum, it was a no-brainer.

I'm not saying disliking animals and being cold-hearted are necessarily associated, I'm just saying to watch out."
