Our society is obsessed with the dead, what with all the vampire and zombie films dominating the screen. So, America should probably get a kick out of the California Science Center's Mummy Exhibition.
Tickets will be going on sale June 6 for the "Mummies of the World," the largest traveling collection of mummies ever assembled. Along with the well-known Egyptian mummies, animals, infants and artifacts from all over the world will be displayed, as well as an entirely mummified family.
The collection offers the most awe-inspiring displays of the dead we've seen since Girls and Corpses magazine. Click ahead to see some of the incredible remains of these glorious cadavers.
