From Duff to Elsinore, fictional characters sure know how to drink. We saluted the best fictional beers, in a list that includes butterbeer from "Harry Potter" and "Lost"'s amazingly-not-skunky Dharma Initiative–brand brew.

Our inclusion of a popular "Star Trek" beverage prompted reader David Wayne Osedach to write: "What wouldn't I give for a tall glass of Romulan ale!" Remember the old Trekker adage, David: Romulan Ale before Klingon Blood Wine, tastes mighty fine.

Another reader shouted out the name of a big screen brewski we plum forgot about:

An exasperated Jon wrote, "You forgot the greatest fictional beer ever - Schnitzengiggle! The beer that is so good you 'Wanna freeze it and skate on it and stick your d**k in it!'"

Schnitzengiggle (say it fast) comes from "Beerfest," the 2006 beers-and-boobs epic from the Broken Lizard comedy collective. As fans of randy puns, we'll be Netflix-ing this one right quick.
