Lyle - from what I understand, the bottle states that you could experiencing "flushing" not due to the caffeine, but from one of the B vitamins.

You guys really shoot yourself in the foot when you fail to give just simple straight facts. Is sthe stuff poison, harmless, helpful? All of the above? Do you really know? Or, do you just want to huff and puff your fluff?

There's likely no harm in using it now and then. For some folk it really works.
However such super high amounts of B vitamins can make you seriously nauseated.

Is everyone really this dense? "Does it work or not?" "Is this sarcasm or not?" Can you READ? It's telling you the ingredients and what those ingredients do to/for your body. With some humor thrown in. It ain't rocket science. But with question after question saying "I don't understand this" maybe you should just wait for the tweet to come out so smaller words will be used and you will then (hopefully) understand it.

Why is everyone confused? This is simply a chart telling you whats in the bottle. Its not meant to tell you whether or not it's good, it's just straight facts. You people need to stop being sheep.

I am addicted. I drink two a day and can't stop. I get withdrawal symptoms without them. I am not withdrawing from the caffeine as I drink about 4 cups of tea a day too. Anyone else have this problem? Yes, they put pep in my step for sure.

It does make you more alert, and can help you stay awake a while longer. Yes, it also works great to prevent hangovers. Also, it aids your digestion. Great Stuff! Much better than coffee and sugar. JMO

Funny article and quite informative. I like a bit of humour rather than a dry scientific blah blah blah. Well done. I use this stuff every so often and it does seem to do what it says it does.

One bottle gets me through a 12 hr shift in the Emergency Dept. It would take 3 cups of coffee to do that, and by the end of the shift my nerves would be shot. No jitters with 5-hr, I fall asleep as soon as I hit the pillow, & wake up refreshed (& not feeling useless until my first cup of Java).
At least it has some good vites & aminos in it - it isn't just a collection of every legal 'upper' known to man.
The real answer is - try it for yourself.

A cup of coffee and a multivitamin would probably do the same thing for you. If you have a problem with caffeine it would not be wise and I think the product suggests that you don't do more than 3 a day. Caffeine is the stimulant in most of these things and can cause some people to have a racing pulse and feel jittery. I think this is just another promotion to make people think they are getting something special.

Yes they really do work. I am 60 years young and decided to go back to the university(ODU) to finish my BS in Criminal Justice. I found I had a hard time focusing in tests and in memorization. Out of desperation, one day, facing a final exam in one of my classes I took my first 5 hour energy drink and was amazed by how well I could concentrate..and with no withdrawal or crash. The drink only last for about 5 hours but it really works just as it states. I have used these drinks about 5 times to date and have never been disappointed.
Its nice to really find something which is not a scam or straight out lie..( like ALL the wrinkle creams..all fakes and lies)
I tried to duplicate the main ingredient in 5 hour energy by buying an expensive liquid B complex and discovered it simply did nothing.
So any time I need to really study or focus..I'll gladly pay $3 for this product

who wrote this. Yes I'm taking to you. You did not do any WORK on this article. your mother should hide her head. Be a person, not a hybrid. Taurine-best source-tuna. tirosine-milk and the result is more dopamine for feel good replacement for neurotransmiters used up in use of drugs. nicotine, alchol. Malic acid means apple acid, yes it's in krebs cycle, not so hard. Im' appaled at the review. does any one read? The basics. Just Eat and have a mountain due, and maybe a vitamine. May be you got more $ than brains, then go ahead, pull out that debit card, but look at the bill and wonder how other people survived and worked hard without the convience store.

Really, you really going to say mountain dew is an offspring to better health? Not saying 5 hours is not a lot of hype, and it may have what's in mountain dew, the main ingredient in mountain dew is sugar and glucose. That's like giving an insulin rush to your brain and it definitely doesn't do anything good to your heart and liver. Heck with a glass of ice tea and 40 scoops of sugar I can get the same effect as a mountain dew. Haha.....

I find that CranEnergy works just as well, or better, and it doesn't have the nasty taste of stale cherry cough syrup that 5Hr Energy does, that is if you like the taste of cranberry juice. I just wish I could buy CranEnergy, by Ocenspray, in larger bottles.
