About 8 percent of people who report sleep disorders initiate sex during their slumber -- and then have no recollection of the act when it is completed.Researchers at the University Health Network in Canada surveyed 832 people who had sought help at a sleep clinic. They found that 7.6 percent reported so-called "sexomnia." Since only one in four sexomniacs surveyed have discussed this "problem" with their doctor, it stands to reason that the phenomenon is under-counted in the general population, as well.
Taking illicit drugs seems to increase the likelihood of sexomnia, and, not surprisingly, men are about three times more likely to "suffer" from it than women.
All the more reason to choose your roommates very carefully.

I feel like I'm more interested in sex when I'm sleeping. I have a boyfriend that I love and we're physically attracted to each other, but I feel like I'm more excited about sex when I'm going to bed. And I never remember in my dreams sleeping with guys, but I always remember sleeping with the girls in my dreams. But don't get me wrong I am not a lesbian.
