Green Day Rock Band
"Green Day: Rock Band" continues the artist-focused "Rock Band" offshoots that began with last year's successful Beatles version. Unlike previous "Rock Band" installments, the game comes preloaded with three full albums ("American Idiot," "Dookie," and "21st Century Breakdown") with more download-able content on the way. Fans also get to try their hand at the three-part harmonies, an innovation carried over from "Beatles Rock Band." Finally, we'll get to be Tré Cool.

Also in stores:
-- Compete in the Ryder Cup in "Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11," a game which clearly was in production way before the world knew the names Rachel Uchitel or Joslyn James. We hear rumors that a special feature allows you to send filthy texts from the 9th hole at Augusta.
-- Solid Snake returns in "Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker," a PSP game written, directed and designed by creator Hideo Kojima. Playing through multiple times causes the game to evolve in new ways, offering easily the richest PSP gaming experience to date.
-- "Mega Man Zero Collection" collects all four "Zero" games for the Nintendo DS. Look for new weapons like the Shield Boomerang and the Buster Shot, which fires a mini Buster from "Arrested Development." (Not like that would be any weirder than anything else in the "Mega Man" franchise.)
