The students at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Cleveland and the Shaker (Ohio) Dance Academy have been working on their moves for weeks. The dancers, ranging in age from 8 to 18, entertained shoppers at the Tower City Center in Cleveland by breaking into song and dance in an effort to explain what LeBron James means to them. The flash mob, which performed Bonnie Tyler's "More Than a Hero," was part of the "More Than a Player" campaign to convince LeBron James to stay with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The organization, a single-purpose "grassroots group," also posts testimonies from community members and created LeBron James Appreciation Day, which was scheduled for June 18. You can find them on Facebook and Twitter.
No word on yet if the dance moves were enough to keep LeBron in Cleveland

Lebron,
Ohio is your state. Cleveland is desperate with high unemployment, houses boarded up, and many students needing a hero. Think about it. Is a huge salary worth the humanitarian choice to stay in Cleveland. Don't worry they won't let you starve

Reply To Carter: The L.A. Lakers are the armpit of sports. The only team that would praise a rapist. Artest? Another get symbol of L.A. Was hoping he'd go up in the stands an beat the crap out of Jack Nichloson.
Magic Johnson spent his career spreading the HIV virus and probaly giving it to his wife.
I do remember when L.A.'s head coach was Westhead. Magic said he either goes or I go.(Westhead took LA to the NBA title his first year) Then Magic refused to play under his $25 million dollar contract. Wanted more money. L.A.? A living toilet.

Oh, Dolores, I'm so sorry to tell you that James is not thinking about Cleveland or Ohio or houses boarded up or the economy, just his own pocketbook. When have you heard of him doing a big humanatarian jesture or in the news about helping his city? NEVER!!!! And now, when the NBA championship title eluded him, AGAIN, he must jump ship and go where he brings the title home or so he things. Hey, guess what, basketball is not a ONE MAN show but a team and I don't feel that he is a team player on or off the court so let him go, send him on his merry money chasing way and replace him with a player that has a heart for Cleveland, it's people and it's economic demise. Go, Lebron, go chase your money dreams. I will be glad when the public wakes up and sees the real players who sit in the shadows of these false men and do good things off the court, say like Steve Nash of Phoenix and many otheres who are not reveled in the press until it is sickening to hear.

Regardless of the reason, whoever put this dance together, congratulations, for me, I am not a basketball fanatic, but the dance was absolutely beautiful, all these children coming together is awesome. We should see more of this, the energy of these kids is contagious.
Again, congratulations for this excellent, dance, it brought a smile to my face, very early this morning and we need more smiles these days, God Bless all of the participants and the ones that put this together. The idea is brilliant.

Actually, LeBron could make more salary by staying in Cleveland since he would be a free agent signing with his current team.
I think though there becomes a point in an athlete's career, when they are one of the top performers in their profession, that the money is not the object. The object becomes the maintained level of competition and desire to be challenged. How many houses, cars, girlfriends, boats, etc can you really have or really want?
The unfortunate truth in professional team sports is that no one person can be in this elete situation without team mates. Koby had Shaq and now Pau, Michael had Scottie, Magic had Kareem (and visa versa, Bird had McHale. Who does LeBron have in Cleveland or who can they get within their salary restrictions to give LeBron someone in Cleveland?

Carter, what happened when you visited our wonderful city to make you say things so nasty about it? Did you visit the Rock Hall of Fame, or the Science Museum, the Great Lakes Science Center, NASA Glenn Research Center, the Metroparks Emerald Necklace, the Browns stadium, the Q, Edgewater Park. We are not a sewer of the city and I do recommend you coming to visit us.

Um...Carter? Maybe people should leave L.A. more often cause it appears the folks there don't know how to spell. It's LeBron...not LaBron. Smackdowns lose the impact when the main focus is misspelled. LOSER!
Oh, and moero3523...you know how I know you're gay? Cause you think his name is James LeBron. Nice.

Seriously Carter? These are kids for goodness sake! They could be doing drugs, stealing etc. Instead they are using their time to do something wholesome and healthy and you are ridiculing them for it? I wish LeBron health and happiness no matter where he goes. However, I am now certain of one thing - LA does not deserve him!

Carter, you get an A for spelling. Last time I checked a city doens't kick their players out, the franchise trades them. You represent LA and their incredibly high west coast iq's. Have fun making fun of a place you can't rightfully judge. And as has been said before, if Kobe wanted to leave you'd be doing more than begging while on your knees.
Congratulations on your maturity level. Sincerely,
The Midwest

LA doesn't "beg" any player because you don't have anyone worth wanting to keep! You're the pathetic one...Cleveland Rocks!!!!!

Dude shut up. Yeah I bet if Kobe were in the same situation, not only would people be on their knees begging but they would be doing flips. And plus, Cleveland and L.A. are no different cities. If you call Cleveland a sewer, you're calling L.A. one too. Oh and yeah his name is LeBron James not Labron...wow

I bet you have never been to Cleveland. Downtown Cleveland is beautiful. All that crap on the news and such is just the worst parts where no one goes. L.A. and Cleveland are similar cities. The only difference is that Cleveland has way more heart. LeBron should stay here because this is his city, no other team is going to love him half as much as we do (We Are LeBron remix), and we are all witnesses! Oh and yeah his name is LeBron James not Labron. CLEVELAND ROCKS!
