Of all the mythical creatures we'd like to have turn up in Texas, the chupacabra is pretty high on the list, right after minotaur. So we were especially excited to find a video of either A) two chupacabra slayings, or B) video evidence of a very bad mange outbreak down South (option B being somewhat less exciting). So far, two animals labeled as chupacabras have been spotted and killed, and now the hunt is on for more. Because when you're in Texas and you possibly discover a new species, the first thing you want to do is kill as many of them as possible, then jauntily pose next to one propped up on a stick.
After the jump, video "proof" that the chupacabra is real and not just a sickly coyote.

I don't get why every time a sick, hairless dog, or coyote shows up its labeled as a Chupacabra. Lots of people say it look like an alien or reptilian.

Dogs don't kill like the chupacabra does. No animal we know has the inclination or the ability to surgically mutilate cattle.

I wonder why they freaking shot it? It was threatening anyone or being aggressive so why would you shoot something that people have been trying to prove forever? Unfreaking believable if you ask me!

Roughly halfway through the video you can see some sewer hoses, I too would look like that diseased coyote if I lived near that.

I saw a case similar to this on the Discovery Channel. It's nothing more than a poor coyote with mange.

i don't understand why they shot them. were they killing livestock? looks like some poor mangy dog or coyote or big chihuahua. why don't they try to figure out what they are instead of automatically killing them and then exploiting them? some people are so ignorant.

Why every time someone sees a strange animal they kill it? Why not try to capture it and observe it (no testing or anything to cause harm) to see the body language. Stop killing what you are afraid of.

This is an example of human beings' ignorance about that which is "different." It's the same thing as people abusing crippled or deformed people. Some moronic humans don't realize that not all species look alike; some are different because of genetic mutation or error. These poor animals in the news video were guilty of nothing except looking unusual. Well, the guy holding the dead animal on that stick looks kinda weird to me with that unusually shaped belly. Maybe he should be shot, too?
And worse yet are the photographers who took the pictures of the dead animals and showed it to the world. I guess some humans haven't evolved far from the gladiator or public hanging days.

What are feed stores for? They have immunizations, tranquilizers, darts just to bring it down for at least an hour. In the caribbean people who saw the chupacabra said it had webbed wings like a bat and moves quicker than a coyote and almost flies from tree to tree. It's a different type of animal for a canine that looks like a bat when in action in the caribbean. It has killed many goats, horses, cows, and creates puncture marks and torn hyde.
