Our old buddies BrewDog have done it again. Not content with winning back the "strongest beer in the world" title last February with its Sink the Bismarck!, they've now upped their game with a new brew that is 55 percent alcohol by volume and carries a $765 price tag. It's called The End of History.
Oh, and did we mention that the bottles come in stuffed animals-like stuffed animals that were once alive? The 12 bottles have been made featuring seven dead stoats (a kind of weasel), four squirrels and one rabbit. James Watt, one of the two guys behind BrewDog, put it better than we ever could: "The impact of The End of History is a perfect conceptual marriage between taxidermy, art and craft brewing." Just like we've all been waiting for!
For those interested in the actual beer, it's a blond Belgian ale with touches of nettles and juniper berries -- and in order to achieve the brain-blasting alcohol content, it had to be created using extreme freezing techniques.
Keep reading for another photo and a video about the making of the super-strong beer.

This BrewDog video about the creation of The End Of History is well worth a watch.

Perhaps stuffing the beer in some illegal aliens rather than cute little squirrels might be a good way to put some of them to use other than just hanging around Arizona causing problems.

Dumb: People stuffing a bottle of beer in to dead squirrels.
Dumber: People who pay hundreds of dollars for a bottle of beer stuffed into a dead squirrel.

I think you have done a great job pushing the limits of beer and brewing, keep up the good work

This is too awesome to be real! I love it, and am now going to spend my family vacation money getting several bottles... which will be consumed. The carcass can will rest on the mantle, and yes, I know it's a bottle... not a can. I think there should be a collector's edition that comes in a baby seal, or in a dolphin fin or something. Hell yes! Ai, Laddie, good show.

Considering that squirrels, and other animals, were put on this Earth for food I believe this is a perfect way of controlling overpopulation. Some people may think squirrels are cute little furry animals. They aren't like your househould dog or cat. Try and pet one and their survival instincts kick in. It's called nature. You get too close and they feel frightened, and depending on how frightened they are is whether or not they choose to run or fight. Maybe you should pick up and survive in the woods for a month. That's where I'm going.
